Hi Everyone! I hope
you have enjoyed my site. I have spent a lot of time and love putting it together for you
to view.
If you talk to any
Elvis fan, you will find they all have a story. My story goes way back to when I was a
little girls of 8 years old. To be honest, I really can't tell you what made me love Elvis
as much as I do, I just know that I always have for as long as I can remember. Yes there
was a time when my love for Elvis was shared with the Osmonds, especially Donny, but as I
got older, I found myself leaning solely to Elvis. I would play his records for hours on
end, and even grab a "microphone brush, or comb" and sing along with him.
I remember the first addition to my Elvis
collection. My parents had bought me the "Elvis-TV Special" album as a get well
gift, along with my very own record player. I remember listening to that album until the
grooves worn thin, but I didn't care. I loved Elvis and his music so much that I just
couldn't stop playing it. There was just something about him and his music that always
seemed to hold true with me. That
love for Elvis and his fandom has just grown more profound through the years. I
still have that album, and have added another 200 albums, CD's and tapes to the collection
since that day.
I also have in my
Elvis collection many, many other things too abundant to put here on this page, but I can
tell you that it includes various plates, statues, decanters, lots and lots of photos,
dolls, books, and magazines. The list goes on and on. The proudest piece of my collection
is one I made myself. For the 20th Anniversary of Elvis' death, I attended the Elvis
Week celebrations in Memphis, TN. I had spent all year prior to that, working on a cross
stitch portrait of him. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at the Graceland
visitors center, where they display all the art contest entries. Graceland holds an art
contest every Elvis Week, of paintings, photos and craftwork, which they award with 1st,
2nd and 3rd place prizes for each division. Of course, the first one I was looking for was
my entry. I was completely surprised when I found my portrait...it took FIRST PLACE in the
craft division. I was soooo excited!

This is me at
Graceland with my prize winning entry! It is the one with the ribbon hanging on it!
I never had the
opportunity to attend one of his live concerts, but in 1997, I was fortunate enough to
attend the "Elvis In Concert" performance put on by Graceland and Elvis Presley
Enterprises, which is now touring the country and Europe. So I guess you might say that I
have seen him in concert one time. It was a totally awesome experience, and I can just
imagine the aura there must have been in the auditorium when he was performing his shows
live himself. I felt a similar aura the night I saw this show. I will never forget it. The
thing that really set the show off, was his duet with Lisa Marie. What a fabulous feeling
that gave me! Their performance went over so well with all his fans, that it got an encore
performance. Each performance was totally awesome! Lisa Marie has truly inherited the
talent her father had.
My trips to Graceland
for Elvis Week has only been in the last five years. I guess I didn't realize how easy it
was to get there, and what fun it was. I now make it a regular trip every year. My oldest
daughter made the trips with me along with my youngest daughter, but now it is primarily
my youngest and me.
My family has been
very supportive of my Elvis infatuation. Both of my daughters have grown up knowing who
Elvis was, and now I have inducted my two step-daughters, as well as my husband, in the
Elvis phenomenon. However, they are not the fan I am, but they do enjoy his music and
movies.

This is my husband
and the three youngest girls at Elvis Week 1997. They came along with me to celebrate the
20th Anniversary Celebration. What fun we had! The little girl in the middle is my
youngest daughter Danielle, the one on the right is my husband's daughter Amanda, and the
left is his daughter Rachael.
As I said early on,
my love for Elvis has been with me from the time I was a young girl, and it grows each and
every day. He will always be special to me. Elvis shared a great deal with his fans in his
generosity, music, and movies. It is these things that made him the special man he is to
me and to all of his fans. He will always remain the King of Rock and Roll to me, and for
the rest of the true Elvis fans. This site is my tribute to Elvis and for his fans to
enjoy as much as I do! I hope you have enjoyed viewing my site as much as I have enjoyed
putting it together.
